Executive Director – Whispering Pines Fellowship Centre & Camp
Whispering Pines Fellowship Centre & Camp is seeking a passionate and visionary Executive Director to lead our ministry, operations, fundraising, and community engagement efforts. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will provide spiritual and organizational leadership while advancing the camp’s mission of creating meaningful experiences where relationships with Jesus can begin or deepen.
The successful candidate will oversee strategic planning, staff and volunteer leadership, donor relations, fundraising initiatives, program development, facility operations, and community partnerships. This role requires a dynamic leader who can inspire teams, build strong relationships with supporters, and help shape the future of the organization.
Key Qualifications:
Demonstrated Christian faith and commitment to spiritual leadership.
Experience leading teams within a nonprofit, ministry, camping, or similar environment.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and fundraising skills.
Experience with budgeting, strategic planning, volunteer management, and organizational development.
Passion for youth, family, and leadership development.
Ability to recruit, mentor, and develop staff and volunteers.
Responsibilities Include:
Providing leadership and accountability for all camp operations and ministry activities.
Building and maintaining relationships with donors, campers, churches, schools, and community partners.
Leading fundraising efforts, special events, and major gift development.
Overseeing staff recruitment, development, and performance management.
Supporting facility planning, maintenance, and capital projects.
Collaborating with the Board of Directors on strategic initiatives and organizational growth.
