Youth Leader

Overview

JOB SUMMARY:

· Plan and implement regular faith based social activities for youth (could be weekly or bi-weekly)

· Prepare and implement lessons for weekly Sunday School classes for youth

HOURS: 16 hrs per month, August 15 to June 30

Work schedule is flexible but includes firm commitments of a minimum of 3 Sunday morning teaching responsibilities and regular evening youth events

SALARY: $23/hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must enjoy working with youth

· Post-secondary training in education, social work, theology, or an associated field is an asset

· Experience working with children and/or youth in a leadership role is an asset

· Strong leadership and organizational skills
