Overview

Position Title: GRANTS AND FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR
Organization: The Lethbridge Helpers (YouthInspirED Foundation – Alberta)
Virtual | 2–3 hours/week

About Us:
The Lethbridge Helpers provides free online tutoring for elementary, junior high, and high school students throughout Alberta. We are a youth-run organization partnered with the YouthInspirED Foundation and YWCA Lethbridge.

What You’ll Do:
• Help connect with local supporters, donors, and partners
• Assist with simple fundraising campaigns and small community events
• Look for grants that match our mission and help prepare basic application materials
• Keep track of fundraising amounts and basic expenses in easy-to-use spreadsheets
• Share updates with the executive team and help plan new fundraising ideas
• Strengthen relationships with individuals and organizations that care about education

What We’re Looking For:
• Comfortable communicating by email or message
• Friendly and professional when speaking with community members
• Organized and willing to handle small weekly tasks
• Interest in events, fundraising, grants, or community involvement
• Able to work independently while collaborating with a youth executive team
• Passionate about supporting students and educational access
No previous fundraising or grant experience required.
