Organization: The Lethbridge Helpers (YouthInspirED Foundation – Alberta)
Type: Virtual, 2-3 hours/week (volunteer)
About Us:
The Lethbridge Helpers provides free online tutoring for elementary, junior high, and high school students across Alberta. We are a youth-run organization partnered with the YouthInspirED Foundation and YWCA Lethbridge.
What You’ll Do:
– Share volunteer opportunities with schools, clubs, and community groups across Alberta
– Conduct friendly interviews with interested volunteers
– Help new volunteers complete onboarding documents (agreements, background checks)
– Support smooth onboarding for new tutors
What We’re Looking For:
– Friendly and comfortable talking with new people
– Organized and able to manage small weekly tasks
– Comfortable working independently
– Passionate about education and community impact
– No previous recruitment experience needed
