Position Title: Social Research Assistant
Overview:
The Social Research Assistant will help gather, organize, and maintain community resources that support single moms across Canada.
Responsibilities:
Research and verify community organizations and supports
Organize and upload resources to the website
Write short summaries and descriptions
Build contact lists for potential church partners
Maintain accurate and organized data
Provide occasional writing support for newsletters or blogs
Skills Gained:
Research, organization, digital skills, communication, attention to detail, teamwork
Position Details & Eligibility:
9-week placement | 30 hours per week
Start date: May/June 2026
These positions are funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program. Applicants must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee status, and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
