About Edmonton Chinese Alliance Church

The church was established in the Fall of 1969. The late Reverend Peter Poon came from Hong Kong to serve as the church’s founding pastor. Since 1970, the church has become a local church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. In 1972, the church purchased the Parkview site and a large sanctuary was built in 1978. In 1985, as the church continued to multiply and diversify its ministries, a two-storey Christian Education wing was completed. In 2005, to accommodate more growth, the church embarked on an exciting building project that resulted in moving to the Hamptons area in July 2016.

Currently, God has blessed the church with approximately six hundred believers, worshipping God in five different services on a Sunday morning in three different languages (English, Cantonese and Mandarin). With God’s blessing, the church desires to serve our neighbouring communities and the city of Edmonton for the glory of God.
