Full-time | $55,000–$70,000 annually
Bayview Glen Church is seeking a compassionate, spiritually mature, and organized Care Pastor to provide vision, leadership, and pastoral oversight for our Care Ministry. This role will help cultivate a church culture where people are spiritually nurtured, prayerfully supported, and compassionately cared for through every season of life.
The Care Pastor will develop and strengthen key areas of care, including the Community Care Team, prayer ministry, counselling pathways, volunteer care structures, and spiritual care initiatives that support healing, discipleship, and deeper connection to Christ and His church.
Working closely with the Care and Missions Pastor, staff, ministry leaders, and volunteers, the Care Pastor will build sustainable ministry systems, equip teams for meaningful care, and create pathways that support the emotional, spiritual, and practical needs of the congregation and broader community.
The ideal candidate is a Christ-centred leader with a heart for shepherding people, strong pastoral discernment, experience leading volunteers, and the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with wisdom, confidentiality, grace, and appropriate boundaries.
