We invite applications for a Sessional Faculty position in Finance for the Winter 2027 semester. This opportunity is well suited for a practitioner or academic who is passionate about teaching, committed to student development, and able to translate financial concepts into practical, real world understanding.
Position Summary
The Sessional Faculty member will be responsible for delivering BUS 220 Finance during the Winter 2027 term. The successful candidate will provide high quality instruction, foster an engaging classroom environment, and support students in building foundational knowledge in finance within the broader context of business and organizational decision making.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and teach undergraduate level lectures.
- Design, administer, and grade appropriate tests, final exams, and homework assignments.
- Prepare the syllabus and course Moodle page.
Qualifications
- At minimum, candidates should have a relevant Master’s Degree (MBA or Finance) by the time of appointment. A doctorate is preferred.
- Relevant Canadian industry experience in the field is required.
- Demonstrated commitment to high quality teaching and a student centered approach.
- Teaching interests that complement and strengthen the Business program at Ambrose University.
- Preference will be given to candidates with undergraduate teaching experience.
