We are seeking a Student Recruitment & Campus Experience Coordinator who is service-driven, highly organized, and energized by creating meaningful first impressions. This is a 5-month limited-term position, with the possibility of extension based on departmental needs.

Position Summary
The Student Recruitment & Campus Experience Coordinator plays a key role in delivering engaging and high-quality recruitment experiences for prospective students. This position combines strong customer service and relationship-building skills with operational execution, supporting the planning and delivery of on-campus recruitment events, coordination of the campus visit program, and oversight of the Student Ambassador contact centre.
Through these efforts, the role contributes directly to building relationships with prospective students and supporting departmental recruitment objectives.
This position requires flexibility, including evening work 2 to 3 evenings per week from September through May, as well as occasional weekend commitments to support recruitment activities.

Reports to: Manager, Recruitment & Admissions
Supervises: Student Ambassadors
Key Responsibilities
Campus Visits and Recruitment Events
Coordinate and support the development of effective Open Houses, Preview Days, program-specific events, and other internal recruitment visit events
Ensure group and individual campus visits are planned and executed effectively
Oversee campus visit bookings in JRM
Work closely with the Recruitment & Admissions/Financial Aid Assistant to coordinate planning and follow-up for campus visits
Train Ambrose students to lead engaging campus tours for prospective students and their families
Support the development of clear annual targets for campus visits and event delivery
Student Ambassador Program and Contact Centre
Hire, train, and support part-time student workers who represent Ambrose to prospective students
Liaise with faculty and the Manager, Recruitment & Admissions on ambassador training, priorities, and goals
Schedule Student Ambassadors to help achieve weekly and monthly contact centre goals, while contributing to an effective operational rhythm for future enrolment cycles
Supervise Student Ambassadors on a daily basis, ensuring they are equipped with prospect lists, communication guidance, and clear expectations
Provide students with daily outreach direction for texting, phone calls, and email engagement to support enrolment efforts
Motivate student workers to achieve both individual and team goals
Produce reports based on weekly completed actions by ambassadors
Recruit and train a volunteer group of 15 to 20 ambassadors to assist with campus and youth group events, particularly at the start of each semester
Develop inquiry communication plans in collaboration with the Manager at the beginning of each semester and provide monthly reporting on inquiry activity and follow-up efforts
Qualifications Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a post-secondary recruitment and admissions environment
Skills and Capabilities
Strong event planning and project coordination skills
Demonstrated supervisory and training ability
Strong IT and administrative skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM tools such as JRM
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
Creative, adaptable, and able to manage a dynamic and fast-paced workload
Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment
