About Arrowsmith Baptist Church

Vision of Arrowsmith Baptist Church: We build bridges into our community to transform people’s lives through God’s love and truth, welcoming them into our church family where we follow Jesus together.

Our Church: Arrowsmith Baptist is a growing multi-generational church in Port Alberni. We have about 180 people in our community and an average of 140 people attending on Sundays.  We carry out diverse discipleship and outreach ministries.

Our Town: Port Alberni is centrally located on the west side of Vancouver Island.  Our town is surrounded by beautiful mountains as well as the Alberni Inlet.  Port Alberni has a population of 18000 people and a total regional population of 31000.  We are just over an hour’s travel time from each of Nanaimo, Courtenay, Ucluelet and Tofino.  The area hosts endless opportunities for sightseeing and recreation including biking, hiking, fishing, surfing, and swimming.
