Welcome back, Students and Faculty! Here’s hoping Summer treated you well and you are ready for a new year here at Ambrose. My name is Jordan Moore, I am a fourth year BHS student and I have the privilege of working under Joy Ulrich for my practicum placement. I will be taking over this blog space as one of my projects. I am excited to connect with you!
As we are all getting back into a routine, I thought it would be a great time to update you on the Career Services Center as well as some upcoming events. I will be updating this blog frequently, providing resume tips, internship ideas, and I really look forward to writing a Q & A post answering questions from you.
As all these ideas continue to unfold, here are some events and dates to keep in mind!
SkillPics Demonstration Workshops: SkillPics is a new and improved way to present your resume/portfolio. It is a social marketing platform that allows users to showcase their skills through pictures (a mix between LinkedIn and Instagram). Ambrose will hold three workshops on SkillPics, practicum students are required to attned one of the three timeslots and sessions are open to anyone who is interested.
