• Nothing makes a bigger impact on a young person than an authentic Christ-sharing relationship with a caring adult who’s willing to come along on their journey!

• Youth Guidance is looking to employ workers who have a heart to reach youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a youth minister role. YG uses a variety of community outreach programs and mentorship in order to meet the needs of community youth.
•
• Youth Guidance was founded in 1977 with the purpose of guiding youth who are experiencing problems at home, at school or with the law. Often these young people have little or no relational or emotional support.
•
The program aims to foster growth emotionally, socially, physically and spiritually through the difficult years of adolescence by offering each young person a mentorship commitment.
•
• Our staff need to be interested in developing caring and fostering relationships with youth and assisting in developing their whole person (mentally, physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually).
Job Qualifications:
•
• Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Ability to be an active youth worker
• Feel they are called by God to a ministry of working with youth
• Be able to be an active youth worker – connecting with youth, inviting them to events, building rapport with them.
• Able to provide a Christian role-model all with the intent of ministering to their needs and sharing about faith in Christ
• Team player
• Ability to engage in partner development and raise personal financial support (all field ministry staff are required to raise 100% of their salary funds.)
• Able to develop & maintain a prayer support team
• Willing to be active in evangelism and discipleship
