Overview

Position: Children and Youth Ministry Pastor

CHURCH PROFILE

Winnipeg Chinese Alliance Church (WCAC) was established in 1967, the second Chinese C&MA church founded in Canada. With nearly six decades of growth, the church has upheld Jesus Christ as its head, adhered to biblical truth, and committed to discipleship and evangelism.

We are a multi-generational church family that consists of three language groups – Cantonese, English, and Mandarin. We currently provide three different services with an average weekly attendance of 290, with many young families, children and youth, along with a number of senior adults.

At present, our children and youth ministry offers two Sunday kids’ programs for children (pre-school to grade 6) totalling approximately 30 children, and a Friday night fellowship group and Sunday School program for youth (grades 7-12) totalling 40 youth. This is supported by a strong and dedicated group of over 50 volunteers who believe in guiding, directing, and discipling our children and youth.

WCAC believes in supporting all ministry workers – male and female – in pursuing their calling as spiritual leaders, including the process of ordination.
