Qualifications
• A Master’s degree in pastoral ministry
• A Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada
• Accredited or willing to be accredited with The Alliance Canada
• Gifted in preaching, teaching, evangelism and leadership
• Strong public and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in computer skills and social media platforms is an asset.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Preaching, Teaching, Evangelism and Leadership Development
2. Providing Pastoral Care and Visitation
3. Leading Outreach and Mission
4. Engaging in Pastoral Staff Meetings, Coordinating and Collaborating in Church-wide Events, Visioning and Discernment
Position Type: Full-time, salary is based on experience and qualifications. The Assistant Pastor reports directly and is accountable to the Site Pastor of the Gormley Campus.

About Scarborough Chinese Alliance Church (SCAC)
Established in 1981, the Scarborough Chinese Alliance Church is a multisite church with two locations: Scarborough & Gormley. Its vision is to become a church that makes disciples of all nations through evangelism, spiritual development, ministry preparation, and missionary outreach.
The church location at Gormley is about 5 years old and is situated very close to newly developed residential areas with many new homes. The Cantonese congregation has an average worship attendance of 160 and the English congregation has an average attendance of 40, with a multicultural and intergenerational demographic.
