Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated behaviour aide to support our family. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our 9 year old son with Autism in various ways, in our home and community.

The ideal candidate will possess:

A steadfast belief and commitment to community inclusion
The physical ability to keep up to a fast-paced child
Previous experience utilizing Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy
The ability to work independently in unstructured environments
Effective time management skills
Dedicated solution, focused, and persistent
Reliable to a confirmed schedule decided upon together
Experience working with children that are nonverbal would be an asset
Requirements

first aid and CPR certification
Recent police check within the last year
Child intervention record check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.97 per hour

Expected hours: 9 – 12 per week
