Overview
(Youth Development Coordinator)
- Age 18+ and have or be willing to obtain Wilderness First Aid and Level C CPR. Ideal candidate would also have outdoor leadership training such as “Leave No Trace.”
- Oversee the teen leadership program (TREK), leading and participating in training sessions, team building, and chores.
- Lead wilderness trips for groups of campers on a weekly basis. Hiking/overnight experience needed.
- Responsible for the maintenance and preparation of out-trip materials, including safety items, food, tents and backpacks.
- Technology responsibilities include creating and using digital trip plans, communicating trip plans with staff, parents and campers; satellite phone/other emergency device usage.
- Work closely with the Program team to participate in program activities and assist with supervision.
- When Trek students are not onsite, Trek Leader will act as a program staff or cabin leader as needed.
- Ideal candidate would also have experience and confidence in Christian biblical training and be willing to lead courses.
- Beneficial skills/assets: driver’s license, musical ability, drama, lifeguard certification, camp activity skills (archery, sports, art, etc.), photography.
Dates: June 15-August 22, with one week off. Pay is $15.50/hour.

We are a small camp at the base of the Rockies, west of Pincher Creek. We have camps for people of all ages, including adults with disabilities.
