Overview

HERE YOUTH PROGRAM COORDINATOR
This role supports the overall structure and leadership of Here Youth by giving
leadership to programming, creating a welcoming, organized, and engaging
environment for students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in leading weekly Wednesday youth programming
Administrative support for Student Ministries Pastor
Provide oversight to Wednesday Drop-In (3–7 PM) and Worship Night (7–9 PM)
Engage relationally with students and leaders
Facilitate games, activities, and program transitions
Support event setup, teardown, and logistics
Recruit and support students and volunteer leaders serving in various roles

TIME COMMITMENT
15+ hours per week
Wednesday: 2–10 PM weekly
Administrative tasks as assigned
Friday evenings: 1–2 per month (5–10 PM)
Weekly planning meetings with team (2–3 hours)

IDEAL CANDIDATE
A vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ
A heart for students and youth ministry
Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills
Experience working with students is an asset
Eligible for internship or practicum credit

At Terwillegar Community Church, Here Youth exists to create spaces where students feel
known, welcomed, and invited into a growing relationship with Jesus. We believe
discipleship happens best through consistent presence, meaningful relationships, and
shared leadership.
These Youth Coordinator roles are designed to disciple emerging leaders, invite them into
real ministry responsibility, and walk alongside students within the ongoing rhythm of
Wednesday youth nights and special events throughout the year.
