About First Baptist Church Prince George
Our Church
We are a multicultural and multi-generational congregation with a mix of urban and rural adherents, typically welcoming 120 to 180 attendees on a Sunday morning.
We are affiliated with the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada (CBWC) and partner with Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) and several mission partners and local ministries.
Our church community is committed to being welcoming and relational—helping people build meaningful connections with God and with one another. A guiding value for us comes from our founding pastor, the late Rev. Dr. Lance Morgan: “If I must err between law and love, I will always err on the side of love.” This continues to shape our culture and ministry.
We are blessed with a substantially sized and well-used building and are supported by a part-time Associate Pastor, a part-time Children’s Ministry Director, and a part-time Office Administrator, supported by a dedicated team of volunteers.
