Position Title: Events Coordinator
Supervisor: Communications Coordinator
Location: Remote (Canada)
Duration: Canada Summer Jobs Program (8 weeks)

JOB DESCRIPTION:  
As the Events Coordinator, you will be working within our small, but high-impact team.  Since our organization is involved in gathering Canadian Christian business leaders, your goal would be to plan and execute engaging and creative events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist in planning and coordinating various events, for both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Support event logistics, such as venue selection, equipment setup, and guest services.
  • Distribute promotional event materials.
  • Manage event registrations and RSVPs, ensuring accurate tracking and communication with participants.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and familiarity with event management software such as Asana.
  • Attention to detail, proactive attitude toward problem-solving, and willingness to learn.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements of the Canada Summer Jobs program, including being between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment and legally entitled to work in Canada.
