Children’s Ministry Coordinator
Position Type: Permanent part-time (20 hrs/week)
Location: 17504 98A Ave, Edmonton AB
Position Summary
Are you passionate about helping kids and families grow in faith and community? This role leads and shapes a dynamic Elementary (Grades 1–4) ministry at Beulah’s West Campus, developing leaders and creating engaging environments where children and families can Gather, Grow, Give, and Go. Working closely with a collaborative Children’s Ministry team, you’ll design impactful weekend experiences, equip volunteers, and help families take meaningful next steps in their spiritual journey.
Role Responsibilities
- Recruit, equip, and empower volunteers to lead and thrive within Children’s Ministry.
- Design, evaluate, and continuously improve programs, events, and processes for maximum ministry impact.
- Actively participate in weekly Global Children’s Ministry meetings, contributing to the overall vision and effectiveness of the team.
- Collaborate with the Children’s Ministry Team to plan and deliver meaningful special events, including family-focused and outreach experiences.
- Partner with Guest Services to help first-time families feel welcomed and supported as they take next steps into deeper community at West Campus.
- Create and oversee engaging, age-appropriate weekend programming for Grades 1–4 that aligns with Beulah’s Vision, Values, and Practices.
- Co-lead dynamic weekend large-group experiences for Grades 1–4 alongside the Children’s Ministry Team Lead.
- Work with the Communications team to develop and execute clear, compelling communication for ministry events and activities.

Qualifications
- Diploma (minimum two years) from a recognized Biblical institution or equivalent experience.
- Aligned with The Alliance Canada’s Statement of Faith.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada prior to hiring.
