Youth & Young Adult Ministry Coordinator

Position Type: Permanent full-time (35 hrs/week)

Location: 17504 98A Ave, Edmonton AB

Position Summary

Are you someone who loves seeing youth and young adults grow in their faith and step into leadership? Do you thrive on building relationships, developing leaders, and creating meaningful experiences for youth and young adults to grow in their faith? This could be the role for you.

Role responsibilities

  • Cultivate and implement a ministry philosophy for Youth and Young Adults that aligns with Beulah’s Vision, Values, Practices, and Strategy.
  • Coordinate and oversee key ministry functions for Youth and Young Adult gatherings, including service planning, worship team coordination, leadership scheduling, retreats & special events.
  • Recruit, train, and develop volunteer leaders to serve within Youth & Young Adult ministries.
  • Help identify, mentor, and develop emerging leaders, including individuals discerning a potential call to vocational ministry.
  • Help develop and implement a pastoral care approach that supports the spiritual formation, well-being, and connection of youth and young adults within the church community.
  • Contribute to the broader leadership and spiritual health of Beulah, helping form disciples and disciple-makers who Gather, Grow, Give, and Go Together.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two-year diploma from a recognized biblical institution (Theology, Biblical Studies, Missiology, or Christian Ministry), and 2+ years of related ministry experience
  • Aligned with The Alliance Canada’s statement of faith.
  • Able to work weekends and evenings, as needed.
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada before being hired.
