Connections Pastor

Position Type: Permanent full-time (40 hrs/week)

Position Summary

The Connections Pastor helps people move from first-time guests to fully engaged disciples. This role leads Beulah’s First and Next Steps strategy, creating clear, relational pathways for those who are New to Jesus, New to Beulah, and New to Serving to find belonging, purpose, and spiritual growth.

Working across Beulah’s multi-site context, the Connections Pastor designs and oversees systems, teams, and environments that remove barriers and invite people into meaningful connection with Jesus and His church.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and continually improve Beulah’s First and Next Steps strategy across campuses.
  • Develop and track assimilation metrics to measure engagement and discipleship progress.
  • Recruit, equip, and lead engagement and follow-up teams to ensure every new person receives intentional connection.
  • Collaborate with others to ensure clear and accessible next-step pathways.
  • Oversee next steps classes, events, and central baptism processes.
  • Partner with worship, facilities, and hospitality teams to create a welcoming guest experience.
  • Serve as a visible pastoral presence at weekend services and key events.
  • Provide general pastoral ministry, including Pastor on Duty support and participation in weddings, baptisms, and funerals as required.

Qualifications

  • Diploma (minimum two years) from a recognized Biblical institution.
  • Eligible for accreditation with the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada.
  • Aligned with The Alliance Canada’s Statement of Faith and Call to Excellence.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada prior to hiring.
