My name is Michelle Fourny, I am the Human Resource Manager at Bass Pro Shops, Rocky View. As you may know, Bass Pro Shops was founded in 1972 by Johnny Morris, and we have grown to become a leading national retailer of outdoor gear and apparel with nearly 200 retail and marine center locations across North America and Canada. Bass Pro Shops was recognized as one of “America’s Best Employers” from 2020-2024 by Forbes Magazine as well as Newsweek’s list of “America’s Best Retailers 2022-2025” and I could not agree more! Johnny’s non-profit Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium has been voted “America’s Best Aquarium” by USA Today for the 7th time in 2025!

Outside of our stores, Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s are actively involved in each of the
communities we serve. We are making a difference by supporting over 2,000 local
grassroot nonprofits. We lean in to support our communities during times of disaster and continually seek ways to show support for our veterans. Guided by the visionary leadership of our founder, we are creating an unprecedented alliance of over 200 million passionate customers, team members and industry partners to lead conservation efforts. Our World’s Fishing Fair in Springfield, MO resulted in a $1.5 million donation to conservation efforts!

We are hosting a National Hiring Event in all Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s retail locations on October 8th and 9th from 10am-7pm. We will be offering immediate, on-site interviews.
