Annapolis Valley Church of the Nazarene – Lead Pastor Position

Nestled in one of the most beautiful rural parts of Nova Scotia, the Annapolis Valley Church of the Nazarene is a cherished part of the Canada Atlantic District Church of the Nazarene. With a history dating back to 1951, our church has faithfully served its local community for over seven decades.

We are currently in a season of transition and prayerfully seeking a Lead Pastor who feels called to minister in the Annapolis Valley. We are looking for someone who is committed to both personal and corporate prayer, gifted in preaching and teaching, and has a shepherd’s heart with a dedication to leading the church in authentic mission and outreach to the surrounding community.

The successful candidate will be in agreement with the doctrines and polity of the Church of the Nazarene, ideally bringing experience from a Wesleyan Holiness background, and must be currently eligible to work in Canada.

The Lead Pastor will report to and provide regular updates to the Church Board, with evaluations conducted by the Church Board and the Canada Atlantic District Superintendent, in line with the Church of the Nazarene Manual.
