Get Ready Ambrose Students!! Coming to a university near you is… THE 2016 HIRING FAIR with over 30 organizations!! You won’t want to miss this. Whether you are looking for a summer job or for long-term employment as a new graduate this event is FOR YOU!! Here is the list of organzations with a little summary about each, as well as what degree they are looking for. When it says “Any Degree” – they literally mean ANY!! So go and talk to them 🙂 Bring your resume and dress to impress!
1.Action International
•Action International ministries primary purpose is to work among the urban poor in Asia, Africa and Latin America (www.actioninternational.org). We focus on Evangelism, Discipleship, and Development. The organization has about 250 workers in about 20 different countries. We would be interested in providing opportunities for internships and long careers as missionaries.

2.Beulah Alliance Church
•Beulah is a vibrant 3000+, multisite, multicultural, church located in Edmonton, Alberta. The church has a heritage of innovative approaches to evangelism, discipleship and church multiplication that spans a 95 year history. We have a vision to impact 1% of Edmonton for Christ. 3.Between Friends
•Between Friends runs social and recreational programming for people with disabilities that allows them to connect, grow and belong. Camp Bonaventure creates a summer full of excitement, friendship and fun. Adventurers is a summer program available for adults ages 18 and older who would like to participate in structured social and recreational group activities. Vacationers offer our participants the opportunity to participate in weeklong, weekend or day trips; programming starts June, 2016. Day Trippers is our adult day camp, offered to members 18-24 years old, starting August 2nd.

4.Bethany Care
•Bethany Care Society is one of Western Canada’s largest voluntary, not-for-profit providers of health, housing and community services for seniors and persons with disabilities. For over half a century, Bethany has been improving the lives of Alberta seniors and adults with disabilities by providing housing, health and community services that honour their spirit and individuality. Grounded by faith and strong values, the greatest service we can offer residents, tenants and clients is to foster well-being for their physical, spiritual and emotional needs. At Bethany we embrace and celebrate aging by creating communities of choice.

5.Blue Bronna Wilderness Camp
•The purpose of Blue Bronna Wilderness Camp is to introduce adults and young people to the good news of Jesus Christ through a wilderness camping experience, and to provide an opportunity to develop Christian character and growth in faith through outdoor adventures, relationships, and time spent in God’s Word and His creation. We focus on the Bible, Wilderness and Horses.

6.Butterfield Acers
•Butterfield Acres is a teaching farm with programming extending for family visits, animal visits offsite for birthdays and other community functions, Day Camps, and Special Events. We employ students from various fields who have a strong interest in both animals and children! And who enjoy working outside.
•Any degree. Hiring for summer (FT) and future (PT).
7.Camp Evergreen
•Camp Evergreen is a non-profit, Christian organization located on 480 acres of natural beauty, 14 kilometres south of Sundre. Camp Evergreen is a place where faith is developed and lived out, fun is an unavoidable fact of life, and fellowship is how we operate, as we worship, live, work and play together. Our vision, mission and values reflect our desire to serve God wholeheartedly, to recognize that it’s not by our own power, but by the power of God that people’s hearts are changed, and to worship, live, work and play in an environment of celebration, love and hope!

8.Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter
•The Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter is looking for individuals that believe change is possible, and will thrive in an environment that nurtures families impacted by violence and abuse. For the past 41 years we have been “Taking a Stand Against Family Violence” in the Calgary community. We are “More than a Shelter”, serving over 16,000 clients each year through our innovative safety, healing and prevention programs. •For the last 40 years, Distress Centre has provided 24-hour support lines, crisis counselling and referral services to anyone in need. 13.Developmental Disabilities Resource Centre
•The DDRC is a non-profit, registered, charitable organization that began in 1952. We offer programs and resources for children and adults with disabilities, their friends and family, and other people in the community. We believe that communities are stronger when people of all abilities are involved in activities that are meaningful to them. The DDRC is funded by the government and donations

•The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme is a Japanese government sponsored exchange program that seeks to promote English language education and internationalization in local Japanese communities through people-to-people connections. On the JET Programme you can help teach English in Japanese public schools as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) or work on international relations projects in select government offices as a Coordinator for International Relations (CIR)

19.Lone Prairie Camp
•Lone Prairie Camp (3 hours north of Calgary) is a Christ-centred camp that seeks to facilitate life-changing encounters with the Triune God in an accessible environment distinct from that of normal day-to-day experience. 20.Pacekids Programs
•Pacekids is family-focused and strives to offer excellence in the early intervention treatment of children with special needs. We have an ECS school in the city (2 locations) and an in-house program where our Child Development Assistants go into the home and work the child and parents using different strategies to achieve a set of goals

•Rehoboth Calgary Region offers individualized Residential, Vocational and Relief services to clients with a variety of developmental disabilities. Some clients may also have complex needs, such as medical or psychological support needs.

23.Society for Treatment of Autism
•Society for Treatment of Autism is a provincial resource and registered charity providing individualized treatment that is both developmentally appropriate, and empirically based. Services are specialized to meet the needs of persons with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families. Programming is designed, implemented, and supported by a multidisciplinary team. We offer a diverse range of treatment programs across a range of environments (e.g., home, community, and/or treatment centre) that are designed to enhance participation in all aspects of life. Our goal is to support those we serve to achieve their maximum potential.

24.The Mustard Seed
•The Mustard Seed is a Christian humanitarian organization whose vision is to build community, grow hope and support change. Intentionally following Jesus Christ and partnering with the community, The Mustard Seed combats the root causes of poverty in Alberta and works to create positive, lasting change in the lives of those we serve. The Mustard Seed provides basic services of food, clothing and housing, and support services including education and employment, to those living in poverty within Calgary and Edmonton.

34. Camp Chestermere
• Camp Chestermere is an inter-denominational Christian Camp that welcomes all campers, regardless of their background, to experience a place to belong. Our Day and Overnight Camps run for ages 5-18 and are primarily throughout the summer, with a few during the school year. We host user groups, cater weddings, hold conferences, and rent out our facility to nearly any organizations/individuals you can imagine throughout the year.
